Most pets love the sweet taste but if your pet is nervous about being dosed, you can put the dose on your finger and dab it on their lips or gums.
They do not need to swallow the dose of BioPet Dental, it just has to come into contact with their tongue or gums.
Dosing
2-3 pumps orally twice a day or 5 pumps into the water bowl daily for 3 weeks, then give dog or cat a hard chew-stick to encourage the softened tartar to be scraped off – or use a toothbrush or similar.
After the initial 3 weeks of dosing, you should then commence a regime of dosing your pet twice daily for one week a month as a maintenance programme. Where there exists a heavy build up of tartar, you may need to repeat the 3-week intensive regime more than once.
Please note: Cats or small dogs weighing under 8kg only need 1 pump orally per dose or 1-2 pumps into their water bowl.
