Polyester alone is water-resistant but lacks the deep absorbency needed to trap moisture effectively. By incorporating polyamide fibres, the mat gains enhanced wicking and holding properties, pulling moisture and dirt deep into the fabric instead of letting it sit on the surface.

This mix creates a faster-drying, more absorbent, and longer-lasting mat that stands up to repeated use, even with the muddiest paws!

Dirty Dog Doormats by DGS have a Grams Per Square Meter (GSM) absorption rate of 3,000; this advanced wicking power absorption rate is considerably higher than any of the competition that have GSMs in 800 to 1,200 range.
