Lightweight, compact, easy to use

$59.50

The Furminator Nail Grinder files and smooths nails with ease on both dogs and cats.

Pets need their nails trimmed on a regular basis. Untrimmed nails can affect their comfort and health and cause them to develop sore feet, legs and hips.

This two-speed cordless grinder is lightweight, compact and easy to handle.

Each Furminator Nail Grinder comes with two grinding bands, four AA-alkaline batteries and a built-in LED light that illuminates the nail for easier and safer trimming.

Make nail care part of your in-home grooming routine. For best results, use with other Furminator grooming products as part of a complete regimen.

Furminator Nail Grinder key features:

  • FILES AND SMOOTHS NAILS: Use the Furminator Nail Grinder to file and smooth your pet’s nails with ease.
  • TWO-SPEED: Two speeds to choose from so you can customize to your pet’s needs.
  • BUILT-IN LED LIGHT: A built-in LED light illuminates the nail for easier and safer trimming.

  • BATTERIES INCLUDED: Your purchase includes two grinding bands and 4 AA-alkaline batteries.

Directions for use

  • Monitor your pet’s nails, and care for when appropriate to avoid overgrowth.
  • Pet’s nails should not touch the floor when standing. Regular maintenance is important for the health and comfort of your pet.
  • Slowly introduce the grinder to your pet. When they are comfortable with the tool and the sound, you should begin working on the nails.
  • Before starting, note where the dead nail ends and where the live part – the quick- starts. Hold the paw firmly while gently pressing the base of each nail with your thumb.
  • Gently grind down the nail going slowly to keep your pet comfortable.  Be sure to stop grinding before reaching the quick to avoid bleeding. Short passes of the grinder are recommended to avoid over-heating of the nail, which could cause discomfort.
