Dog shoes, just like human shoes, need to be worn in before going on large walks.

Please do small walks to begin with – if you put the shoes on your pet and try to go for a long walk straight away you risk giving the dog blisters (exactly like a new human shoe).

If your dog has a dew claw then sometimes it can get hooked up as the boots are being put on, so it’s important to make sure it’s not caught and that it is flat against the foot before walking the dog.
