Airlyte cardboard chip animal bedding is made from cardboard that is stripped of tape and staples, then “cross-shredded” into approximately 15mm pieces, dust is removed and it is packaged into 100L Bags (approx 18-20kg). We are told that the inks used on most packaging is now vegetable based as required by the printing industry. Our packaging bags are “Soft Plastic Recyclable” – LDPE #4 so can be re-used or put into recycling.
